Our Process

A disciplined path from opportunity assessment to accepted delivery and closeout.

Funding and program work becomes risky when ownership, inputs, approvals, and deadlines are unclear. Our six-step control loop makes those decisions visible from the start and keeps each engagement tied to a bounded statement of work.

1

Qualify

We clarify the buyer, need, funding or budget path, timing, scope fit, available evidence, internal capacity, data requirements, partner needs, and next decision.

Output: Qualification brief with fit, risks, dependencies, and next action

2

Decide

We use a documented go/no-go review to test alignment, feasibility, compliance burden, available inputs, role clarity, and delivery capacity before committing resources.

Output: Go/no-go decision with assumptions, exclusions, and decision owner

3

Scope

We define deliverables, responsibilities, client and partner inputs, dates, meetings, revision cycles, data, acceptance criteria, payment milestones, and change control in writing.

Output: Bounded statement of work and milestone plan

4

Launch & Control

At kickoff, we confirm the source of truth, decision-makers, communication path, risks, and dependency owners. Delivery is then managed through a single calendar, action register, evidence file, compliance matrix, and version owner.

Output: Active control plan, input tracker, and current delivery record

5

Review & Deliver

Work moves through production checks, specialist review where required, Wellridge final quality review, and client approval. Facts, calculations, claims, and final external submissions always require human review.

Output: Approved deliverable, acceptance record, and milestone completion

6

Close & Extend

We close the engagement with records, unresolved items, lessons learned, and the agreed reporting or closeout structure. If further support is useful, it is defined as a separate task or scope amendment.

Output: Closeout record, next-step recommendation, and reusable operating tools

The Control Tools

The exact toolkit changes with the scope, but the operating principles remain consistent:

  • Qualification Briefs: Make fit, dependencies, and risk visible
  • Go/No-Go Records: Document decisions, assumptions, and exclusions
  • Compliance Matrices: Translate requirements into owned actions
  • Master Calendars & Input Trackers: Keep milestones and dependencies current
  • QA & Approval Records: Preserve review, acceptance, and closeout evidence

Selected planning tools are available in our Resources section.

Prepare for Fit and Scope

Use the scope-preparation checklist to record what is moving, what is stuck, and what responsibility a partner may need to own.
